Dalaguete NHS eClassroom

The Dalaguete NHS is a recipient school of the Implementation of the DepEd Computerization Program (DCP) under DCP-Batch 13. The school received the Secondary e-classroom Package: (8) Host PCs and (42) Computer Terminals using the N Computing devices. The Host PCs are installed with Windows Multipoint Server 2011 with an Administrator as its username while the 42 Computer Terminals have usernames: Users 1 to 6 in each workstation of 7 Sub-Host PCs.
The guidelines on the Implementation of the DepEd Computerization Program are stated in DepEd Order 78,s. 2010 dated June 10, 2010. With its …legal mandate of promoting the right of all citizens to take appropriate steps in making education accessible to all, the Department of Education (DepEd) is geared towards the transformation of education through the DepEd Computerization Program (DCP).
It is stated in DepEd Order No. 78, s. 2010 that the aims of the program are to provide public schools with appropriate technologies that would enhance the teaching-learning process and meet the challenges of the 21st century. This program shall respond to the computer backlog of public schools by providing them hardware and software, and training on simple troubleshooting.
Through this program and the combined efforts of other government agencies and the private sector, 5,409 public secondary schools have been provided with at least one computer laboratory each. This ranges from 10-20 computer units including other peripherals depending on the agencies providing the computer units.

- Provide laptop units to mobile teachers;
- Integrate ICT in the school system;

- Reduce the computer backlog in public schools.
